Blackwater Hostel And Campsite sits beside the River Leven in Kinlochleven, with tent pitches and glamping pods within the hostel grounds. For a more substantial hill day, the West Highland Way towards Kingshouse crosses exposed moorland and the Devil’s Staircase, the route’s highest point at around 550 metres; it calls for suitable equipment and attention to the weather rather than being treated as a casual village stroll.
