Red Squirrel Campsite (Glencoe)

Located at the foot of the Glencoe mountains is the Red Squirrel campsite, a perfect base to explore the local mountains, visit local sights or just relax by a campfire. The campsite is located next to the Glencoe river where paddling is possible (at your own risk) and pitches are scattered along the banks on a mixture of hard standing and grass pitches. A short walk away you will find the Clachaig Inn which has a great restaurant and pub. Nearby is the Glencoe mountain ski resort where the chairlift is open all year round, various mountain walks, waterfalls and an abandoned slate main. Fire pits are scattered thought the site where campfires are permitted and firewood can be purchased within the local area (campsite, local Glencoe petrol station).
