Small campsite located on the Isle of Barra with 5 tent pitches on grass and 5 hard standing campervan pitches (electrical hook up available for both tents and campervans). Campers have access to a toilet, shower, laundrette and kitchen within the amenity building where the kitchen has a cooker, microwave and kettle available for use. On a clear day, you can get excellent views over Skye, Canna, Rhum, Eigg, Muck and Tiree with stunning sunsets in the evenings. A local bus service runs past the site making it easy to get to from Castlebay where the ferry port is located. There are plenty of wildlife to spot when walking around the local area with seals, otters, basking sharks, corncrakes, cuckoo, buzzards, white tailed eagles and golden eagles all regular visitors. The campsite also offers a pick up and drop off service for those traveling without a car.
