Beinglas Farm Campsite

Beinglas Farm Campsite sits below Ben Glas at Inverarnan, towards the northern end of Loch Lomond. Its position directly on the West Highland Way makes it a well-used stopping point for walkers, with tent and campervan pitches alongside glamping pods. Dogs are welcome, and the combination of camping space, food and practical facilities suits both overnight trail stops and longer stays exploring this part of the national park.

Toilets, showers and washing-up facilities are complemented by a communal kitchen and covered eating area, giving campers somewhere to cook and sit out wet weather. There is also an on-site shop, pub and restaurant, so an evening meal need not involve leaving the campsite. The Drovers Inn offers another option for food and drink a short walk away.

For walking, the northbound West Highland Way follows Glen Falloch towards Crianlarich, where a spur path leaves the main trail for the village. The full Inverarnan-to-Tyndrum section covers 12 miles, passing through a landscape of rivers, mountain slopes and stretches of old military road. Southbound walkers should allow plenty of time: the lochside section between Inverarnan and Inversnaid is notably rough and slow-going rather than an easy shoreline stroll. Beinglas Waterfall, above Inverarnan, is another local feature, seen on the ascent towards Beinn Chabhair; it offers a different walking objective from following the long-distance trail through the glen.
