Scotlands best Campsites you can book instantly online

Hi and welcome to CampingScotland.com where we aim to help you find that perfect campsite and link you directly to their official booking system (cutting out any 3rd parties). In this post we explore all the campsites you can book online instantly (100+)  and our top 5 out of that list.

As we move to the online age we start to prefer and favour places that offer instant online booking. Not only does this help with planning a campsite but also takes away that worry during peak times of turning up to a campsite and seeing the dreaded “Site Full” sign.

How to book online via our website

We know online booking is very important to our readers and just as important is making it clear where and how to book. So to make it super easy all our listings that can be booked online have the orange lightning bolt symbol and we have a floating “Book Now” button on the campsite page. By clicking this button you are taken to the official campsite booking system and not a 3rd party booking site.

We don’t collect commission on these links as we want to keep costs down for both you and the campsite owners to ensure we keep camping accessible to all.

Although online booking is convenient and a less stressful way of planning a camping trip, please don’t be put off by those who don’t allow online booking. Some vey small or remote campsites don’t take pre-bookings and instead operate on in-person payments and honesty boxes. They normally are remote enough where they rarely end up full so don’t tend to turn anyone away and are some of the best campsites in Scotland, some of my best memories in Scotland have been at these exact types of campsites.
