Victorian garden walls give Speyside Gardens Caravan Park a distinctive setting near Aberlour, with red squirrels among the wildlife found on site. This well-kept, modern park welcomes tents and campervans, with grass and hardstanding pitches, all with electric hook-up. Facilities include toilets, showers and washing-up areas, while the on-site shop stocks snacks, beer, whisky and gin. Dogs are welcome too.

The River Spey is a short walk across the road, and Aberlour village is within walking distance for restaurants, whisky bars and everyday shopping, including a local butcher for barbecue supplies. Whisky is an obvious theme for a stay here: Aberlour Distillery is within walking distance, while The Macallan and GlenAllachie are other names to consider when planning an outing around Speyside. Local taxis offer an alternative to driving between distilleries.

Walking gives another perspective on the area. The Speyside Way passes through Aberlour, following the Spey valley as part of a longer route linking the Moray Firth coast with the Cairngorms National Park. There is no need to tackle a long-distance stage to explore on foot, though. From Aberlour, the two-mile Linn Falls circuit follows the Aberlour Burn through woodland to a double cascade. Signposted from Aberlour Distillery, it uses woodland paths with some wooden steps and makes a useful option for a shorter outing from the village.
