Pennygown Holiday Park

Family run campsite located on the Island of Mull with large camping pitches on a mixture of grass and hard standing pitches all looking out towards the Sound of Mull. There is a toilet, shower, washing up and laundry block located onsite and each pitch has electrical hook up if required. A short walk away you will find Glenforsa Hotel, a stunning log cabin hotel, bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a cold pint and incredible food whilst watching small aircrafts land on the hotels private runway. Getting to the campsite is easy, a regular ferry service leaves from Oban, once on the island there is a regular bus service that runs from the ferry terminal all the way to Tobermory with a stop right outside the campsite. And for those campers with their own private plane you could of course fly to Glenforsa, park up and then take the short 10-minute hike to the campsite. The village of Salen is about a 40-minute hike or a short bus/car ride away where you will find cafes, shops and a restaurant. A regular bus service runs to Tobermory from outside the site making it easy to do a day trip up to the capital of the island, sample some whisky at Tobermory distillery and get back in time for the BBQ.
