Keltie Bridge Caravan Park

Keltie Bridge Caravan Park combines riverside camping with access to Callander’s shops, pubs and restaurants, around a 20-minute walk away. The park has 67 serviced campervan pitches on a mixture of grass and hardstanding, while the tent area follows the river beside the amenity block. Three glamping pods, each with a private balcony, offer an alternative to bringing your own accommodation. Dogs are welcome, and practical facilities include toilets, showers, washing-up and laundry facilities, plus a small kitchen for campers. Online booking is available, and the season runs from 22 March to 1 November.

Walks around Callander offer a choice between wooded river scenery and steeper ground above the town. The Bracklinn Falls Circuit starts at the falls car park on Bracklinn Road, rather than at the campsite, and follows woodland paths to a bridge overlooking the falls and gorge. The full circuit is graded moderate, with around two to two-and-a-half hours recommended. Callander Crags is a more strenuous option: its 3.7km waymarked trail climbs steeply through woodland, with rough paths, exposed tree roots and uneven rock steps. From the crags, the outlook takes in Callander, Loch Venachar and Ben Ledi.
