Beauly Holiday Park

Beauly Holiday Park combines a riverside nature-reserve setting with the convenience of Beauly’s shops, restaurants and bars a short walk away. It welcomes tents and campervans, with glamping pods offering an alternative to bringing your own accommodation. Toilets, showers and an on-site pub cover the main practicalities, and dogs are welcome. Bookings can be made online or by email. The river and woodland give the park its character, while access to the village means a stay need not revolve entirely around driving.

For exploring on foot, the River Beauly Circuit can be reached directly from the park via Lovat Bridge, following the river upstream as part of an approximately five-mile circuit. In the village, Beauly Priory preserves the remains of a monastery founded around 1230 for Valliscaulian monks. Entry is free, and the site is open year-round, making it an easy addition to time spent in Beauly.

For a separate woodland outing, Reelig Glen’s Tall Trees Trail passes towering Douglas firs, a 19th-century stone bridge and a grotto. Its gravel paths include muddy sections, steep slopes and steps, so it is worth choosing footwear accordingly. Whisky enthusiasts can also plan a visit to The Singleton of Glen Ord Distillery in Muir of Ord, where guided tours explore production and finish with a tutored tasting.
