Silverburn Park Campsite

Silverburn Park Campsite occupies a small corner of a 27-acre park on the edge of Leven, with sandy shores and town amenities a short walk away. This family-friendly, dog-welcoming site has three glamping eco-pods, four gravel campervan pitches and 12 grass tent pitches, four with electric hook-up. A modern toilet and shower block contains three separate units, including an accessible one. The Cottage Window Café sits beside reception, while Leven offers shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs for supplies or a meal out.

The park itself adds interest beyond the pitches, with woodland trails, giant redwoods and a Victorian walled garden to explore. Campfires and barbecues are permitted when raised clear of the grass, with fire pits and fire supplies available for a fee. There is scope to spend time among the trees before heading towards the coast, rather than needing to drive for every outing.

Leven Beach has a long sweep of sand backed by a promenade, with views across the Firth of Forth. The Fife Coastal Path passes the beach and lies around 400 metres from the campsite, making coastal walking a practical part of a stay. The Silverburn Loop discovery trail also links the park with the beach, promenade and town, adding local history along the way. For a day further afield, St Andrews offers a contrasting outing, with its historic university streets, golfing heritage and West Sands.
