About John O'Groats Caravan And Camping Site
Large campsite located right at the top of mainland Britain in the village of John O’Groats that caters for campervans and tents on both hard standing and grass pitches. Pitches on the coast line look out towards the Pentland Firth and Orkney. The site is located a short walk to the village where you will find a pub, restaurant, brewery, visitor / craft centre and ferry service. A short walk to the East of the site is a golden sandy beach, although rather windy and cold due to being exposed to the Northern winds. This is a great site for those looking for a night stop on the NC500 route but also ideal for those looking to stay a few days and explore the local area or as a base while you get the ferry across to Orkney.
