Small campsite run by Ian & Philippa Porritt located in the North of Orkney’s main island, a short 20 minute drive from Stromness and Kirkwal. The site overlooks the Eynhallow sound with clear views over to the isle of Rousay and a stone’s throw from beautiful Aikerness Bay which boasts golden sands and shallow water where wild swimming is possible. With pitches for campervans and tents on hard standing and grass with a bell tent also available for those looking for a bit of glamping. This site is not only blessed with stunning views but also a Bistro & Bakehouse where you will find sourdough pizza baked to perfection in a wood fired oven, freshly made sourdough bread, artisan coffee and a warm welcome for all with a multi fuel stove on cold, rainy days. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area with world famous archeologically sights, brewery’s, gin distilleries, whisky distilleries, wild life and walks all a short drive away.
