Aberfeldy Caravan Park

Aberfeldy Caravan Park is a small campsite on the banks of the River Tay, with the shops, pubs and restaurants of Aberfeldy a short stroll away. It accommodates tents and campervans on a mixture of grass and hardstanding pitches, with optional electric hook-up. Shared facilities include toilets, showers and washing-up areas, and dogs are welcome. Online booking is available. The combination of a riverside setting and access to town makes it a practical choice for visitors who want to leave their vehicle on the pitch for meals out and everyday shopping.

For a walk with a distinctly local character, the Birks of Aberfeldy follows the Moness Burn through wooded gorges towards the Falls of Moness. Associated with Robert Burns’s poem of 1787, the paths can be reached from the town centre at Bridgend; this is a separate town walk rather than a trail starting at the campsite. Splash White Water Rafting, next door to the park, offers guided trips on the River Tay, including its Grandtully rapids.

Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery is also within walking distance of the campsite, offering guided whisky tours and tastings, while its Whisky Lounge combines a bar, café and shop. For a different outing, Highland Safaris operates from Dull, with Land Rover excursions into the surrounding hills. These are organised experiences away from the campsite, with scheduled departures and varying availability.
