About Point of Ness Campsite
Small campsite located on Orkney Mainland on the edge of the village of Stromness, one mile west of the pier head and ferry. The site provides dramatic views to the hills of Hoy and is located in a quiet location with a shoreline walk from the site. This site has 42 pitches (28 with electric) on level firm grass suitable for tents and campervans, there is a communal toilet and shower block with washing facilities available for all campers to use. This is a great campsite for those looking to explore Orkney, being a short walk from not only the ferry terminal but also into Stromness where you will find pubs and restaurants. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area with golf, world famous archeologically sights, brewery’s, gin distilleries, whisky distilleries, wildlife and walks all a short drive away.
