The Wheel Caravan Park And Campsite

Small basic campsite located on Rough Castle Farm on the outskirts of Falkirk that is suitable for campervans in a hard-standing car park style setting and tents within an open field semi-wild setting. There is a toilet and shower block with a communal kitchen area for us by campers. The site is located near many cycling trails, a 10-minute walk to the Falkirk Wheel and 45-minute walk to the Kelpies. There is also a café Canada Wood a 10-minute walk from the site that boasts stunning panoramic views towards the Ochil hills serving breakfast, lunch, coffee and cakes. For those looking for glamping the site has a gypsy cabin available for rent. The recently renovated Rosebank Distillery is a 30-minute walk where tours are planned for the future (check Rosebank Distillery website to confirm when tours begin). There is also a pub around a 30-minute walk and Falkirk town centre is a 15-minute drive where you will find train links to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
