Sligachan Campsite

Sligachan Campsite on the Isle of Skye is well placed in the center of the island allowing visitors easy access to everything Skye has to offer. The campsite has a range of pitches where all hard standing pitches (with or without electrical hook up) can be pre-booked online via the official website. Grass pitches work on a first come first serve basis for both tents and campervans however there is plenty of space and generally able to accommodate. The site also allows large groups where these can be booked in via emailing “[email protected]” . The site has a toilet, shower, washing up area, device charging point and laundry available for use. Next door you will find the Sligahan Hotel which has a great pub and restaurant. The site has a small shop onsite which stocks a few essentials. This is a great campsite to stay at if climbing the Cuillin Mountains where you can walk back to the site after, via the pub and restaurant first though for a well deserved treat. Fire’s are permitting on the campsite so long as they are raised above the ground (fire pits), no fires are permitted on the ground as this will damage the grass.
