Mossyard Caravan & Camping Site

A VisitScotlant 4 Star family run caravan and camping park with stunning views over Fleet Bay and a choice of sandy beaches to explore. Mossyard is in the heart of rural Dumfries & Galloway, south west Scotland and has direct beach access to a stunning golden sandy beach. The site offers various pitches for both campervans, caravans and tents. The upper field offers wonderful views overlooking Fleet Bay and is closer to the laundry and shower facilities situated at the farm steading. The lower field is situated right next to the sea and you couldn’t get closer to the beach if you tried. There are additional dishwashing & toilet facilities on the lower field. And if you haven’t guessed it already the campsite Is located on a working family farm which is full of history, check out their official website to learn all about the family and the farm. Campfires are not permitted in the campsite but are permitted on the beach, so long as you clean up after. The beach is great for water sports including wild swimming and a short walk away you will find “Gather” a stunning restaurant which also has an option for alcoholic drinks and snacks in their outdoor area. Further afield you will find an abundance of things to explore, from castles, historic sights to the lowland whisky distillery of Bladnoch who offer daily tours.
