Howmore Hostel Campsite

Located on South Uist this hostel offers the ability to wild camping within its grounds with access to the hostel facilities for a small fee. As quoted by the official website, Hostellers may camp in small tents in the hostel grounds at Howmore.  Fees for camping are per person not per tent. The site is located a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the local hills. Explore many ancient archaeological sites or relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. No pre-booking required, check in at the hostel when you arrive where you can pay to use the facilities to make your camping trip semi-wild. Dogs not permitted inside of Hostel building.
