Glendaruel Caravan Park

Glendaruel Caravan Park is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowal Peninsula, and close to the Kyles of Bute. The site caters for small tents, tourers and has a selection of glamping pods available for hire. Although the campsite might feel rather remote there are plenty of options to get there, a 2-hour drive from Glasgow or hop on the Ferry to Dunoon and you are a short 30-minute drive to the site. With two great new trails running near the site (The Loch Lomond & Cowal Way and Five Ferries Challenge) this is a great spot to stop of on-route. The site is also a great place to stay for those who love the outdoors, with lots of local walks and wonderful wildlife nearby (lots of red squirrels) there is plenty to explore. Tents are pitches in an open grass area and campervans are on hard standing with electrical hook up available. All pitches must be booked in advanced which can be done online via the official campsite website. There is a toilet, shower, laundry and wash up area available for use. There are no restaurants or bars walkable from the site but a short drive away you will find the towns of Dunoon and Tighnabruaich.
