About Ferry View Night Stop
Small family run campsite located at the top of the highlands between Thurso and John O’Groats within walking distance to the Pentland Ferry which sails to Orkney. The site is perfectly located for those taking on the NC500 route and offers a great stop off where you catch pitch up on hard standing or grass pitches, and all pitches have access to EHU if required. The site has a communal toilet, shower and laundry block which is available for use by all campers, additionally the site offers some lovely homemade breakfast, lunch or dinner at “Mr Eddy’s Pit Stop”. For those exploring the local area you have the stunning Dunnet Beach nearby, John O’Groats to the East, 8 Doors Distillery, Rock Rose Gin Distillery & Old Pulteney Whisky distillery all a short drive away as well as John O'Groats Brewery. Day trips to Orkney are also possible via the Pentland Ferry which leaves a short walk from the campsite.
