About Burravoe Pier Trust Campsite
On the northern Shetland isle of Yell you will find Burravoe Pier campsite, a small community run site with 8 touring pitches and 4 tent pitches. There is a unique looking toilet, shower and kitchen block which has a unique looking roof (it’s made using one of the lifeboats from the SS Canberra). The site is a short walk to Old Haa Museum where you will also find fresh coffee and great homemade cakes. The local area offers great sighting opportunities of Otters, Seals and bird life along the many coastal walks. Being located next to the pier means you can watch the local fishing boats come and go where if you ask nicely they may sell you some fresh seafood.
