About Black Rock Caravan & Camping Park
Small river side campsite located in the village of Evanton, North of Inverness and part of the NC 500. The site various hard standing serviced touring pitches and also a grass area for tents. There is a modern toilet and shower block with a separate washing up area available for campers use. The campsite is located within the village of Evanton which has a co-op shop, bar & restaurant. Further to the north is the town of Alness where frequent train services run to Inverness and the North. For anyone looking to fish the local rivers, permits can be purchased from the village. Nearby there is the unique Fyrish Monument, plenty of walks and an abundance of whisky distilleries. This would be a great place to stay to visit the likes of Dalmore, Glenmorangie, Glen Wyvis or Singleton of Glen Ord distillery where local taxi services can shuttle you between them leaving you to enjoy a few drams. The site is located on the NC500 route and only around 30 miles to Inverness.
