Solway View Caravan & Camping Site

Solway View Campsite is located within Balmangan Farm beside the sea. The site offers spacious grass pitchs and hard standing pitches. 16 Amp EHU point, with picnic table and camp fire-pit on every pitch. Those in the camping field have access to a heated WC/Shower block, children's play area & campers kitchen washing-up areas. You can enjoy walking the farm/nature trail and the adjoining woodland from right outside the campsite where you should see an abundance of nature. The site is also located within the UNESCO Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere that covers 5268 square kilometre of SW Scotland. Nearby you can go paddling in the sea, swimming, fishing or simply enjoy the tranquillity of the little secluded bay just a short walk from the site. The site also has 5 glamping pods available for rent where each one can fit up to 5 people inside. Dumfries & Galloway in South West Scotland is full of stunning scenery. 200 miles of breath-taking coastline, glorious rolling hill ranges, forest park, Dark Skies Park and lush countryside. There are picturesque villages and towns dotted along the way. Borgue village is nearby and has a great pub with a very warm welcome and delicious food. The towns of Gatehouse-of-Fleet, Kirkcudbright & Castle Douglas are nearby and well worth a visit.
