Open Gate campsite invites you to escape to nature at their glamping site north of Dumfries. Here you leave your car behind and venture into the working sheep farm and check into your bell tent (take wellies or good hiking boots), with fire pits available and campfires actively encouraged they know exactly what makes a good semi-wild glamping experience. There is a pub located a couple of minutes down the road and the farm house shop sells fresh breakfast to cure the hangover.
