Help support CampingScotland by buying me a coffee (or a dram 😄), this coffee will fuel my energy as I create more and more content for you all to enjoy.

CampingScotland.com is created and run by me, Calum Mcalinden. I bought the domain a few years ago and saw an opportunity to create a simple, easy to use campsite directory website. The key thing I wanted this website to do (after you find that perfect campsite) was to connect you directly with the owners booking system.

This means there’s no 3rd party booking agent, which means costs are reduced for you (potential campers) and the campsite owners.

unfortunately this means we don’t get any referral or booking fees when you click through to a campsite. but we’re ok with that! Because it’s a sacrifice we’re happy to make.
