Ballater Caravan Park

Ballater Caravan Park and Campsite is a river side campsite located at the edge of Ballater Village, the site offers a range of pitches for both tents and campervans. The site is located on the River Dee and a short walk to the village centre. The site has around 40 hard standing pitches for campervans (with electric), 5 un-numbered grass pitches with electric (campervans or tents) and 5 grass pitches (with electric) reserved for tents only. Dogs are permitted but must be on a lead at all times and not left unattended, fires are not permitted and any hot surfaces must be kept off the grass. A short walk away in the village you will find shops, bars, restaurants and a post office. Check out the Balmoral Bar for a pint and the Balmoral Arms for some food. There is also a golf course located next to the site (Ballater Golf Course) and further afield you will find Royal Lochnagar Distillery where whisky tours run daily. There are plenty of walks nearby, historical sights and wildlife so if you are a keen walker this is a great place to explore.
